Showdown #5
Were looking to move showdown #5 from Saturday Dec 12 to Fri Dec11th. Please let either Wayne or myself know if this is good for you. If not Friday then the following Saturday. As for your Wisecrack Mr. Kozic yes I do get to the blog rather quickly when I do cash and I'm not proud to admit it. I usually take extra time when Shane cashes because I have a hard time supressing my nausea for the time it takes to post. I happy to see you taking your wife's advice in not waiting until the final table to collect yourself.

We have Girl's Basketball Tournament - I will be sending a sub. Jeff
The tournament is both the 11th and the 12th - so I am in favor of moving it to the 18th (as I will be in Philly on the 19th). Either way - I will get a sub just in case.

I'll be away on Dec. 12, 18, 19. I probably won't make Dec. 11 either (leaving early morning on Dec. 12) so I'll get a sub.
Any thought about moving it to a Sunday afternoon?
Sunday afternoon is very unpopular for some of the members. If we cant come up with an alternate date we will tack it on the end.
I can make it on Dec. 11, but not 12, 18, 19.

I can sub for anybody that needs one, especially if it's Rich or Wayne. I'll be sure to go all in blind on the first hand.
I am in favor of skipping this round and waiting until the next time and slipping this in later. Everyone is busy but if everyone one wants to play Saturday I will get a sub and it won't be Phil. If I want to give away my money I will give it to the Red Cross. The only thing Phil knows about a "super sub" is how to eat one. Don't forget he thinks Tony Romo is great and this dope dumped Jessica Simpson. If I need a sub I will find someone who has a chance. What a JOKE!

If I was Wayne, I would accept any sub possible that is willing to fill in for this joke of a poker league. Every single week somebody can't come, probably because they hate playing in such a bad league. Funny how the one week where I actually make the final table in both games and place 3rd and 4th there is no blog entry on here. What a joke. Oh, and speaking of jokes, let's talk about our good friend Mr. "spelling test champion" Eli Manning. I've never in my life seen a stupider looking person that just has absolutely no idea where they are or what they're doing at any point in time. I mean, c'mon, have you ever listened to him during a press conference? He has notes written on the back of his hand for what to say and he STILL sounds like a moron. He'd be better off letting Helen Keller give him advice on public speaking. And here we go with Romo. I guess he lost the game last Sunday - setting CAREER highs against Wayne's beloved Giants, who couldn't even cover a dead bum in the street with a blanket. He's lucky that the Cowboys defense is in December mode and decided to let 45 big plays all happen at the same time. He made Eli Manning look like a high school quarterback in comparison. All I have to say is...what a JOKE!!!
(and by the way, I actually like this poker league and will sub for anybody that needs it, so long as they buy me a super sized hoagie before hand).
